The 2017-2018 Course Schedule for middle school and high school was designed with extra time built into the school day that is not designated for a specific class. We are calling this time "Learning Lab". This type of structure is often also called a "Plus Period" and our hope is that it does add value to our students' days.

One of the big ideas behind this extra time built into the day is that students have opportunities to get extra help that they need. We also intend to build in extra short-term learning opportunities or "extensions" that will allow students who are all caught up and on track or who need extra challenges to engage in some great learning opportunities during the day. We are excited to implement this new element of our learning environment!
